How To Create Nature Theme Bedroom

Hello and welcome to my website, where I've talked about how to make your own nature-themed bedroom. First of all, I would like to ask you one question, and you can answer that question before moving forward to learn how to create a nature theme bedroom.

The question is, 

Why and how did you get the idea to create a nature-themed bedroom? Do you really love nature? Or do you just have it in mind because you've seen it somewhere, or do you just want to create a nature-themed bedroom for fun?

I want you to get yourself clear first. 

If we talk about nature, there are various nature types; let's discuss the list:

Well, you have come to the right place to get answers. You might be thinking, "How can I create a bedroom with a nature theme? Is it really going to look like nature?" Well, the answer is "yes." if you really love nature, then you will see a nature-themed room! Just keep on reading.

Firstly, I would like to tell you that there are two ways to get your nature-themed bedroom interior done: either you hire a professional "interior designer" or "interior decorator" to do your work as per your imagination, or you decorate and design your room in your own way.

Well, here I am going to discuss the second way. I really liked the thought of doing it ourselves, which makes us happier, and in the end, we are looking for satisfaction in life.

If you are one of them who really loves to do their own work in their own way, then this will really make you a more active person. If you are a lazy person or do not have time for your own things, then you should stop reading this blog; if you just want to get more knowledge, then keep on reading.

So let's start your bedroom room design and decoration process with a nature theme.

Grab your pen and diary, notebook, or A4 sheet of paper.

Firstly, you need to decide which nature theme you want to work on; it can be anything from nature, such as a forest theme, a desert theme, a garden theme, a sea theme, a mountain theme, etc. All these are part of the nature theme.

So first, you should get clear about which type of theme you really love and how you really feel after you visit that place. After getting clear on the theme you are going to do, just write down the name of the theme in your book.

In the second step, after you finally decide which theme you are going to do, you need to do some research for around 10 minutes and write down your ideas about the themed room you have selected.

Here I will take the example of a forest theme and start making a forest-themed bedroom design.

Let's imagine you have selected a forest theme bedroom interior design, Now do some research related to forests about the colors and what things you can see in the forest like big trees, rivers, rocks, rain, birds, and animals.

So we have both identified these things in the forest. Now write down the point of the second step about the things you have observed.

Moving on to the third step, consider what you have in your bedroom and how much you have to convert to a forest-theme interior design. 

Let's imagine you have things in your room on the floor: a bed, a cupboard or almirah, a bedside table, a study table or writing table, and dressing tables. We considered these to be essential elements that every human uses in their bedrooms.  

On walls, TV cabinets, bookshelves, wall clocks, scenery or posters, curtains, switchboards, mirrors, etc.

So far, we've seen that products or room elements are only placed on the walls and the floor. 

Make a sketch of your room, imagining it empty, for the fourth step. Now, next to your sketch, write down the things you want inside your bedroom that will fulfill your needs, and remove the extra items from the room.

If you are not good at sketching or making sketches for the first time, it's okay; do not worry about it. No one is looking at your art or sketches; your final step is only to redesign your room in your way. So these small sketches are something that will help you reach your target.

So let's start sketching the furniture inside your empty room, which you have already sketched.

As you can see I have sketched the walls of my bedroom, and now I have started making furniture inside the empty space. 

Now next step is to draw walls. Now again, I am going to list the wall products as we have described above, like scenery or photos, clocks, curtains, etc.

Now, after writing down wall items, I am selecting what products I need for my bedroom to create a forest theme bedroom interior design.

Now i have sketched the placement of the product on walls where it will look good. Do this sketching for all four walls of your bedroom.

Now that we've completed the sketches of the floor and walls, it's time to decide on the colors, which will give a final look to the forest theme. 

List out the colors you have researched since the beginning.

After you complete the wall painting, now arrange the furniture you have in the bedrooms. And relocate any excess furniture to other rooms. 

Now, wait for the things you have ordered online. If it has already been delivered, you can start placing the things as per your design, as you did before.

Now you will notice changes in your mood, and your vision will become a reality. If it is not up to the mark, do not get upset; you should be great; at least you have tried your best.

I have really enjoyed this process, and it really teaches you many things.

So the colors I have identified are brown, green, blue, and black. These are the significant colors I have found and selected for my forest theme. I would suggest you choose only 3–5 colors for yourself.

Now it's time to list the products and their prices. Which will be easily accessible via the internet. There is no need to visit stores to purchase the products you need.

You can look for your required product on any eCommerce website where you enjoy shopping. However, you must also make use of what you already have in your bedroom.

So the list of online products may include any of these: curtains, bedsheets, wall clocks, carpets, almirahs, dressing tables, TVs, etc. But only list what you actually need.

After listing the additional products you need and their prices, check out the total price you are going to spend. If it is going out of your budget, then remove some products you actually don't need.

After all of the shortlisting, ordering, and waiting for your products to be delivered to your home, you can choose the paints for your walls.

There are several types of paints available, I would suggest going for Asian paints; they're really good. I have used only Asian paints for my home's interior as well.

Painting a room is also a difficult task for those who have never used paint brushes. If you are good at painting, then it is a good time to start. If you don't know how to paint, then don't worry. There are many videos available on YouTube; check them out and learn the painting process.

So to buy paint, visit hardware shops where wall paints are available, and you have already selected the colors for your room, Now you need to check the shade card, which you will get from the store, and the shop owner will ask you to decide on color from the shade card. 

After selecting the color code on the shade card, the shop owner will ask you for the medium, which means he is asking about the quality of the paint. You can choose paint as per your budget, the average cost will range from Rs. 180 to Rs. 250.

The quality should vary as per room size, you can buy 2–2 liters of paint in different colors (color chosen). Now it's time to get your hands dirty. Now that it's going to be exciting, you should practise on a small section of wall other than the bedroom door. One more thing: use the paint roller to paint your bedroom walls. It will have a good finish.
